Silent Auction Rules The Silent Auction will begin at 5:00pm in the classrooms. All items in the Silent Auction have a bid sheet attached to the table in front of them. Persons wishing to bid must do so by writing in ALL information on the bid sheet. No bid may be cancelled once it is entered. All items may be bid on until the Silent Auction rooms close. The closing times are listed for each room. The closing announcement will be made over the PA system. No bids may be entered after the announcement is made. Each new bid must increase the amount of the previous bid by at least $1.00 or the bid is void. When the Silent Auction is closed, attendants will tabulate the successful bidders. A listing of your silent auction bids will be delivered to you at your table in the form of a preliminary sales invoice. A final sales invoice will be provided to you at the cashier’s table. Once payment has been made, your bid number will be closed out. The cashier’s table will not open for checkout until the conclusion of the Oral Auction. Payment in full may be made tonight, or Sunday, May 6, 2006 by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. After your sales invoice is marked PAID, present it to the attendant in the pick-up area to collect your items. No item may be removed before the auction has ended. All items not taken this evening must be removed by Sunday, May 6, 2006 between 10:00am and 1:00pm. Buyers must make their own arrangements to pick up items. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds. |
