11th Annual St. Paul Lutheran School Charity Benefit Auction
The St. Paul Auction Committee is proud to announce the 11th Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction "Making Dreams Come True." As in years past, we plan to bring you another fun-filled evening. Plan on joining us on May 6, 2006.
St. Paul has been blessed with successful fund-raising efforts through an auction that includes a silent portion (with anywhere from 300-400 items valued from $1 to $100) and an oral portion (100-125 items valued at over $100). More than 300 people attend the auction each year. After the silent auction and our sit-down dinner, everyone settles in for an evening of entertainment and light-hearted competition between bidders.
Our goal is to continue to provide a quality, faith-based education for children in preschool through 8th grade. With no state or federal funding available, the school is dependent upon church member donations, modest tuition, and fund raising efforts. Our dream this year is to be able to use our auction funds to purchase new reading curriculums, media upgrades and much more.
Past auctions have been a success due to the actions of so many individuals. Each of us has a talent or idea we can share. Many hands are always needed to solicit donations, put together decorations, help set-up, etc. The Auction Committee meets each Sunday at 6pm in the Teachers' Workroom at St. Paul School. Drop in and lend your talents or contact the Auction Co-Chairs:
